As a luxury hotel specialist and avid sailor, the Auberge du Savel proved to be a delightful mountain retreat for our Easter escape. The welcoming couple running the Auberge went above and beyond to make us feel at home, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and respecting our privacy. Their personal touch and warm hospitality added a special charm to our stay.Nestled in the picturesque mountain village of Clavans-en-Haut-Oisans, the Auberge offered clean and comfortable rooms with stunning mountain views. We particularly appreciated the convenience of having a private bathroom in our room, a rare find for trekkers like us with backpacks. The soundproofed rooms ensured a peaceful night's sleep after a day of hiking in the Alpes.The onsite restaurant served delicious local cuisine, perfect for refueling after a day of outdoor activities. The cozy lounge area with a fireplace and games was a great spot to unwind, while the sun terrace provided breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The Auberge's pet-friendly policy allowed us to bring along our furry companion, making our holiday even more enjoyable.For those seeking adventure, the hotel's proximity to hiking trails and ski areas offered ample opportunities for outdoor pursuits. We also took advantage of the free WiFi access to plan our excursions and stay connected.
